After two years on my HND Photography course the time has come for me to
start my final major project (FMP), this is a project that I can photograph
whatever I decide.
These are three ideas that I have come up with to have a think about for
my FMP.
-Portraiture – For this idea I would look at the history of portraiture
& try to re-create the same effect but with a slight modern twist.
I couldn’t find who
actually took this photograph but it was taken in 1870 & is called
‘portrait of a trumpeter’
-Street – As my main strength in photography is photography people I
thought I could photograph people on the street. I have an idea of sitting in
the same spot & watch people passing by waiting for the right moment to
photograph them, like the decisive moment by Henri Cartier-Bresson.
-Family Snapshots – My family are a very big part of me especially my
nieces and nephew so I have an idea of going out for the day, even if it is
just to he park for a couple of hours to feed the ducks & play on the
swings. I will snapshot the three children throughout the day being 100%
natural & showing a variety of emotions.
